Math Class: Problem Based Learning

Our partner problem was to solve a question using many different ways. Dan was ordering 8 wheels every week. How many wheels would be ordered in 8 weeks? We will do problems like this with a partner and then progress to being able to do it independently. 

One way could be to do repeated addition:
8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8= 64

Another way could be to draw  picture showing 2 cars having  8 wheels and count by 8's

The 3rd way might be to use a T Chart
